The Arab print media so far isn’t paying much attention to events in China. There was a story on the front page of Al Hayat yesterday. But this appears to have been an exception. Most of the articles are buried deeper in the papers and are quoting foreign news agencies. I haven’t seen any editorials so far.
Al Quds Al Arabi did have a longer article quoting the Turkish Prime Minister liberally. Turkey appears to have reacted more strongly to the events than the rest of the Middle East owing to its links to Central Asia. I think that is likely to remain the case unless events worsen significantly.
